KING G AND THE J KREW
In the late 80s and early 90s, Greg and his friends Jason Noble, Jeff Mueller, and Jon Hawpe formed a rap band, called KING G AND THE J KREW. Because that's what pale, geeky white boys from the suburbs did back then. Greg was handy on the drum machine (which he owns to this day and makes phat beats with, if he must say so), among other things, and the band is one of those things he's most proud of as an artist, as it turns out.
First they made a really long 'EP' on cassette, called SNUG, but then they dramatically improved their recording skills and created a pretty pro-sounding record on CD called THE INDESTRUCTIBLE SONGS OF THE HUMPBACK WHALE.
